    Growing up, I lived in the countryside up in Cumbr Growing up, I lived in the countryside up in Cumbria and we didn’t really have much going on. A bus was a 20 minute walk away and it maybe passed by our village once every hour. I’d be stuck in the village with not much to do except riding my bike around and one day accidentally falling off of it and denting someone’s car 🙈😱. I definitely wasn’t a hellraiser just a bit of a klutz. I don’t know whether you know much about Cumbria but when it rains it pours and that happened a lot so I’d also be stuck up in my room and I’d be drawing all day every day. I even remember being the innovator that I am trying to make paper out of ripped up paper….(isn’t it ironic?) anyways paper and pens have always been a huge part of my life since childhood. They used to keep me occupied and keep the boredom at bay and now as an adult I’m somehow fighting for some me time to do what I still love to do which is to draw ✍🏻.     This was the most immersive of the immersive of ex This was the most immersive of the immersive of exhibitions 🤪 @thestrand @universaleverything -life forms. When it comes to technology I am LOST, but this was just so elegant and crisp with sleek transitions between consumeristic style creatures to figures made of broccoli 🥦 it’s all about the relationship we have with the world and how technology plays a huge role in this- to sum it up. My favourite section titled ‘Nature Always Wins’ shows a derelict UK (echoing a zombie apocalypse style film) where nature continues growing and engulfing our left over matter.
